Softwood Veneers

We produce Douglas fir, white fir, and pine veneer in 4-, 8-, 9- and 10-foot lengths, with most of the veneer then used in our softwood plywood and hardwood plywood plants in Oregon.

THE IDEAL CORE FOR HARDWOOD PLYWOOD

We produce Douglas fir, white fir, and pine veneer in 4-, 8-, 9- and 10-foot lengths, with most of the veneer then used in our softwood plywood and hardwood plywood plants in Oregon.

As part of Timber Products’ commitment to sustainable forestry, 100% of the log is used during and after the peeling process. We offer softwood peeler cores in 8’, 9’, and 10’ lengths as well, each with a diameter of 2.5”. The softwood cores are typically used as landscape timber, pressure-treated posts, and as pallet stock lumber.

Wood chips are used to make paper, MDF composite panels, or at our Yreka mill to generate steam. Bark dust is sold for use in agricultural landscaping, while sawdust from our softwood logs is sent to our Medford, OR, facility to make particle board.
